The climate you live in can drastically affect watering needs. I had to learn to intuitively discern when it’s thirsty by observing it for any slight changes in appearance, and using it’s weight to tell me when it’s ready to water. Once a leaf starts looking wrinkled, no amount of water will save it.
I think these plants are just particularly sensitive to a change it environment and it takes them a while to acclimate.Ībout how often would you say you water, what type of grow lights do you have, and what substrate are you using? One very weird thing I’ve noticed about my GPM is that the leaves don’t wrinkle to signal it’s thirsty, they just look subtly deflated. When I first got it, it went through a terribly rough glo-up where it turned that weird orangey-yellow and lost 10+ leaves over a course of a couple months. This Graptopetalum has gorgeous pink and lavender coloration and nice chubby leaves.
